Remember to check the FAQ section if you have questions on what you can or cant do. If you can't find it there, send an ask via tumblr or ping me on any social media @KKMcShouty.

Stretch Prizes
During the event we'll be live on twitch raising funds in order to try to send a free Physical Copy of the Commemorative Zine and a free Commemorative Lenticular Keychain to everyone who completes the challenge.
Shipping is included, both domestic AND international winners will not have to pay for shipping.
The keychain will have a unique changing design based on the angle that its looked at from as well as the names of any winners and donators who opt to have their names on there. Additionally, even if not funded, all physical prizes will still be available for individuals to purchase online for a limited time.
The official funding goal will be announced when the event stream goes live as it will be based on the number of people who RSVP before the event via this page, multiplied by the approximate cost of each goal as shown below.

Prizes will be fundraised for one at a time, with Physical Zines taking priority. Only once the zines have been funded will fundraising for the keychains begin.
Donating
If you'd like to contribute to funding the prizes, you can buy a Supporter Keychain which is similar to the winner keychain but instead says "Supporter" on it and has no names. Or you can donate directly via Ko-Fi or on Twitch with bits or a sub.
If you want to get the most out of your donation, I'd recommend donating through ko-fi as they dont take a cut, while twitch takes 30%
Additionally, any profits made from ANY other products on KKMcShouty's Merch Store before and during the event will be counted toward donations.
To get your name on the Supporter List make sure to do one of the following:
While you can do both, it's not needed. Feel free to ask me on twitch to double check that you've been added to the list!

Bonus Prizes
Any excess funds from this event will be put into bonus digital prizes such as wallpapers or shimeji. Note that given the small scale of the event, these bonus prizes are unlikely to happen.
Claiming Your Prizes
After the event when the creation of the prizes is complete, all digital prizes will be publicly posted to KKMcShouty's Socials as well as linked on this webpage.
IF physical prizes are funded, winners will each recieve an email requesting the following information:
No information will be shared with any 3rd parties and will only be used in order to ship prizes to victors. Information may be retained for up to 1 year in case of failed prize delivery and prizes needing to be resent.

Once the information has been provided and the prizes have been ordered, participants will be sent seperate tracking information for each physical prize.
If something goes wrong during delivery, participants can email kkmcshouty@gmail.com and have their items resent once at no expense. Additional tries will require payment for shipping.
Originally, this event was held in person in two rooms. The Quiet Room which was dead silent where people could work in total silence with their earbuds in or whatever, and The Loud Room where people were chatting, there was food, and people were making blanket forts out of tables. Essentially, one was lock-in mode and the other was chaos incarnate and people could freely move between them.
When I was designing this event to be held digitally, I ran into a problem pretty quick. The Quiet Room was easy, any place on earth could be a quiet room without distraction, however... The Loud Room was a whole other story. How does one create a digital place which is chaotic and entertaining, but able to be actively ignored to some degree so you can work? The annoyingly simple answer, a livestream!
Thus, The Loud Room was reborn as a livestream on Twitch. For the entire 25 hours of the event, I, KKMcShouty will be live on twitch hosting, entertaining and attempting the challenge myself alongside the participants. Being at the stream is entirely optional it's just if you want company, chaos or a break while participating in the challenge.
The stream itself will also show physical prize funding progress and be broken into four 6-hour segments, each one will have:

There will also be 1 hour of games with the audience at the halfway point (most likely party games like Gartic Phone or Uno) and 1 hour to submit at the end where on stream we'll vibe and unwind while people submit their entries.
Start!
Finish!
All times are the start of each hour and in your local timezone. Note that the timeline doesnt render well on mobile.
Additionally once the event starts, you'll see a timeline at the bottom of this page which will show how long until the next thing happens!
This Challenge is Intense! The original version of the challenge only had a 50% success rate! While this version is easier, still make sure to scale your goal to your comfort and skill level and dont be afraid to adjust your goal during the event. It's Way More Fun With Friends! If you can, I'd really recommend staying over with a friend or working as a group, while the stream is fun and all, there really is no replicating the sheer shennanigans and memorable moments you'll make in person. In Big Groups, Try Having Two Rooms! If you look at the little blurb at the toop of The Livestream section, I mention how there was a Quiet Room and a Loud Room, and it might be worth a shot if you have a large group to work with so if people really need to lock in, they can go to the Quiet Room. Don't Drive Immediately After the Event The adrenaline can mask exhaustion, so if you're not at home for the event, or you have drive somewhere else after, plan ahead and get some sleep before attempting to drive. Prep Meals Ahead of Time It can be hard to get around to food during the event, and even if you're following the stream, an hour for meal breaks isnt really a lot, so prepping each to make/eat meals beforehand is a good idea. In large groups you could also have everyone pitch in a bit of money and order food together during the event, during the original event we'd all get a bunch of food from the local pizza shop. Sleep if You Need to. Seriously. No shame in not lasting the full 24 hours, in fact, most dont. I'm even going to be living on energy drinks all stream. Get sleep or nap if you need to, especially if the event starts at a crazy hour in your timezone. Take Advantage of the 3 Minute Ad Breaks! My streams are a little different in that we have 3 minute long ad breaks where everyone (streamer included) takes a break. You can vibe in chat, but I really would recommend using it to stand, stretch, get some water or a snack, go to the bathroom, whatever. If Something Hurts (Physically or Mentally), Stop. No project is worth burnout or injury, make sure to take care of your health first, but also I'm not your mom nor the best role model here. You know your limits, just make sure to take care of yourself.
Not sure what to do for the event? Try one of these! You definitely dont have to do these exact ideas, they're just here as inspiration!

Challenging Ideas

The Original
Along the lines of the last challenging idea is the Original Challenge that this event was based on. 24 Pages of comics. Minimum 1 panel per page in a traditional format. Usually pages were US Letter/A4 sized with a physical medium like ink, essentially a more traditional comic, but you're free to do it however you want!
Note that the biggest threat to this one is how crazy you decide to go story wise, so those who tend to make complex stories should be careful.
Can I watch the stream if I'm not Participating?/Can I have non-participant friends there?
Of course! The more the merrier! Lurkers, background noise enjoyers, emotional support friends, whatever you want to call it, everyone is welcome, participant or not.
Do I have to do the challenge during these exact dates?
While nothing is stopping you from attempting this challenge whenever you want, in order to be eligible for any of the rewards, you'll need to stick to the times here. If you can't make it, don't worry, this event happens every year over a weekend in June!
What if I dont finish all 24 Images?
You won't get the "Winner" title, but we'd still love to see what you made! Make sure to tag it #24hrComic26 so we can see it!
What if I miss the submission deadline?
That's what the hour of extra submission time is for! Full disclosure, some people do use this hour as extra work time, and I have no way to verify if you do or not, but because of this we can't take any submissions after the cutoff. Do plan ahead, and make sure you'll have time. If you want to double check and be absolutely sure the submission went through, ask in chat on Twitch! I'll gladly double check the form for you.
What can I prep before the event?
See the rules and requirements for more examples, but the official ruling is that if its something you can copy and paste into the final 24 images, it's not allowed. For example, you're not allowed to prep backgrounds or poses with 3D models, but you are allowed to look for brushes to use or take reference photos
Can I change my goal mid-event?
Of course! It's honestly encourages if you find yourself not going as quickly as you'd hoped, you might even be able to work it into the narrative somehow, like maybe something happens that causes the world to start to lose its integrity so the images get simpler and simpler.
Can I change art styles part way through/does the art style need to be consistent?
You're allowed to change styles and be as inconsistant as you want with them! You could do it as an artistic choice or, if you're like me, call it an artistic choice when in reality it was a last second decision because you aimed a little too high ^^;
I want to do traditional, do I have to scan my pages in?/I can't get them clean enough to submit!
Don't worry, your submission does not need to be clean scans or perfect pictures! All you have to do is take a few quick photos so we can double check that you met the requirements, and when you get the results you can then opt to send better quality images, or I'll do my best to clean up the images for print!
Can I use AI art?
No. Any use of AI-Generated content will result in disqualification and a ban. Should AI art be missed by the moderators, please bring it to our attention so we can do our best to remove it.
Is NSFW art allowed?
See the Possible Prizes section for more details, but in short, yes you can make and submit NSFW art, HOWEVER, it won't qualify for inclusion in the zine or winner's stream afterward as it's more mature than PEGI 12/PG-13 standards
Is 3D model use allowed?
Yes, BUT there is a condition. 3D models are only allowed if they've been lined and/or filled in by you as applicable. Essentially, if you're using them to trace over for speed, that's fine, but leaving the 3D model in the final work will result in disqualification
Do my characters/narrative need to be original?
As long as you're doing the art, all is fair! Illustrate a favorite book or scene, write a fanfic, make a parody, use OCs, anything goes!
Does my narrative need to make sense?
Nope! As long as there's some sort of through line that you can describe upon submission, it counts!
My question isn't here...
Not here? Well if you want an exact ruling, feel free replie to the post you got to this website by or to ping @KKMcShouty on Tumblr Twitter, Bluesky or Instagram. I'll try to get back to you as soon as I can, but as a blanket rule, if it's not covered here and does not break any established rules, then you're allowed to do it!
